Description
Oxnard is a hamster from the anime Hamtaro. He is owned by Kana Iwata, a friend of Laura, whose pet is Hamtaro, and Oxnard is Hamtaro's first and best friend. The closeness between the two hamsters mirrors the friendship of their owners, which strengthens the bond between the pair.
Oxnard is a gray and white spotted hamster who is noticeably larger and rounder than many of his companions. In personality, he is shy, timid, and easily frightened. He has a weary-sounding voice and overreacts easily to surprises, and he is so gentle-natured that even simple pranks, such as the lantern trick that Boss uses to startle him, can frighten him. He is also clumsy and less energetic than the other Ham-Hams, visibly running slower during group adventures.
