Description
Jack Walker, alias Jackie, serves as a Rank 9 Pokémon Ranger in the ninth Pokémon film. A childhood blizzard rescue by wild Altaria, Swablu, Shroomish, Furret, and Sentret shaped his lifelong dedication to protecting Pokémon. Though mission-driven, he adapts strategies when collaboration proves essential, exemplified during his assignment to secure the Manaphy Egg. Infiltrating pirate captain Phantom’s crew, he seized the Egg and fled aboard a captured Mantine. He subsequently allied with the Marina Group—a Water-descended circus troupe—to transport the Egg to the Sea Temple Samiya. His pragmatic approach clashed with May’s bond with Manaphy, yet he permitted her involvement to achieve their shared goal.

A master of the Capture Styler, Jack strategically commands Pokémon to overcome obstacles: Fearow retrieves stolen goods, Mantyke navigates underwater chases, and Zapdos accelerates land travel post-mission. He temporarily enlisted a Marina Group Politoed to decipher ancient ruins, maintaining a consistent reliance on part-Flying-types for tactical versatility.

Professionally disciplined yet personable, Jack balances dry wit during exchanges with coordinator Judy and acknowledges emotional stakes despite initial friction with May. After ensuring Manaphy’s safety, he resumed Ranger duties, later appearing in a recap montage.

Notable trivia includes his lack of a fixed partner Pokémon, though Phantom’s former Chatot potentially joined him post-mission. His surname nods to *Walker, Texas Ranger*, while his design features blonde hair, green eyes, and fingerless gloves—practical traits for a field operative.
