Description
Klimt is a 136-year-old Wood Elf, appearing younger due to his heritage, with blond hair, sharp elongated ears, and a mantle. He serves as the strict, often tense and stressed guildmaster of the Adventurers' Guild in Alessa. Klimt supports individuals based solely on strength, regardless of background, and vehemently rejects accusations like "lolicon" or "kiddy fiddler," particularly stemming from his advocacy for Fran's rapid rank advancement despite her age.

His background involves a significant event in a small northern vassal state of Granzell. Caught between powerful neighbors, the kingdom's experiments with unstable Spirit Magic catastrophically summoned a greater wind spirit, an A-Threat monster. This spirit rampaged for five days, destroying half the kingdom and causing massive casualties. Klimt intervened, forming a contract that quelled the rampage. This act was widely misunderstood as him summoning the spirit himself. The contract imposed a permanent strain, reducing his mana output, shortening his lifespan, weakening his control over multiple spirits, and resulting in deteriorated physical condition.

As a combatant, Klimt specializes in forest-attuned sorcery: Earth Magic (Level 10), Wood Magic (Level 6-7), Water Magic, and Spirit Magic (Level 7-8). His non-combat skills include Herbology. Key skills are Speed Casting (Level 7) and Identify (Level 5). He possesses resistances to poison and paralysis, along with unique abilities: "Child of the Forest" and the unique skill "Favor of the Spirits." His status parameters are Level 67, Magic 616, and Agility 158. His equipment includes the Ancient Cherry Staff, Doppel Snake Robe, Wind Drake Wing Mantle, Lunar Hare Jump Boots, and Armband of Sacrifice.

Currently, as guildmaster, Klimt oversees adventurer evaluations and maintains order within Alessa, functioning as its guardian. He initially suspected Fran's capabilities but permitted her guild membership after discerning her non-threatening nature through his ability to perceive true natures. His strained relationship with the greater spirit continues to impact his daily effectiveness, yet he remains a respected authority figure.

Additionally, Klimt's name remains consistent across translations, a rarity among characters in the series.
