Osservatore is the name given in the Italian version of the anime To Your Eternity to the character known in Japanese as Kansatsu-sha and in English as the Beholder or the Observer. He is the enigmatic, cloaked figure who creates the Orb from which the protagonist Fushi originates, and he acts as the narrator who follows Fushi's journey from a distance.
In terms of background, Osservatore is presented as an ancient, seemingly divine being who decides to send a small, spherical object into the world. This Orb has the power to take the forms of anything that stimulates it, and through it Osservatore hopes to observe the world and the nature of existence.
