Despite this, her apparent immunity to the Great Sage's displeasure isolated her from fellow pupils. This ostracism cultivated a self-centered demeanor, though beneath it lay compassion and a deep-seated fear of solitude and rejection, profoundly shaping her interactions and motivations.

When an expedition led by the apprentice knight Kasel required retrieving a sealed holy sword to combat demonic threats, Cleo joined. Initially possessing significant potential but lacking discipline, her magical abilities underwent substantial refinement during the journey. Guided by various sources, she solidified her commitment to supporting her companions in their shared mission, transitioning from an isolated student to a dedicated team member.

Following the defeat of the Dark Lord Angmund, Cleo chose to continue adventuring with Kasel and his allies, prioritizing companionship and shared purpose over a solitary return to the Tower. This decision highlighted her growth from an isolated youth to someone actively maintaining bonds forged in battle.
