Description
Mathilda Aino, known in the original Japanese version as Minako Aino, is the civilian identity of the Sailor Guardian Sailor Vénus. She was the first of the inner Sailor Guardians to awaken her powers, having been chosen by the white cat Artemis at the age of thirteen. Before joining the main team, she worked alone under the alias Sailor V, acting as a decoy to protect the true princess. Her early solo missions gave her extensive combat experience and a serious, mission-focused demeanor, though her personality later reveals a more playful and energetic side.
As a person, Mathilda is athletic, friendly, romantic, resilient, and intelligent. She is also graceful and clever, with a strong sense of justice. Despite her sometimes ditzy behavior and enthusiasm for pop culture, she is a natural leader and the official leader of the inner Sailor Guardians, second only to Sailor Moon. This attack channels golden, heart-shaped energy to defeat enemies.
