Description
Bunny Tsukino, also known as Sailor Moon or Navegante de Lua, is the main protagonist of the Sailor Moon SuperS series. She is a girl in her mid-teens, and her full name in the original Japanese is Usagi Tsukino. The version of her seen in this arc is 15 years old and lives in the suburb of Azabu Juuban in Tokyo with her family, which includes her mother Ikuko, her father Kenji, and her younger brother Shingo.

In her daily life, Bunny is known for being cheerful, kind-hearted, and well-meaning, but also notably clumsy, crybaby, and lazy. She is a poor student who dislikes studying and is often late for school. Her hobbies include eating sweets, sleeping, playing video games, and reading manga. Despite these flaws, her defining trait is an immense capacity for love and compassion. She genuinely sees the good in everyone and is always willing to help her friends, especially with their romantic problems. Her motivations are rooted in protecting those she loves. Her great dream is to marry a wonderful man, and her character is driven by a deep desire to safeguard her friends, her family, and her boyfriend, Mamoru Chiba.

Within the story of Sailor Moon SuperS, Bunny acts as the de facto leader of the Sailor Guardians. Her role is to protect the Earth and the dreams of its people from the Dead Moon Circus. In this season, she is aided by a mystical being named Pegasus, who bestows upon her the power to transform into a more powerful form, Super Sailor Moon. One of the central conflicts of SuperS directly involves her key relationship with Mamoru. Because Mamoru is the reincarnated prince of the Earth, his life is tied to the planet. As the Dead Moon Circus threatens the Earth with its dark magic, Mamoru begins to suffer physically. The more the Earth is harmed, the more he weakens, creating a direct motivation for Bunny to fight and save the world to also save him.

Throughout the series, Bunny shows significant development from a reluctant and crying heroine into a more mature and determined warrior. While she retains her emotional and sensitive nature, her resolve to confront evil and protect others strengthens considerably. In SuperS, she gains the ability to become Super Sailor Moon, an evolution that reflects her growing inner power and her pure heart. As a Sailor Guardian, her notable abilities are primarily based on the power of love, light, and purification. Her attacks are often focused on healing and using the legendary Silver Crystal to vanquish evil without necessarily destroying it, preferring to save her enemies rather than kill them.
