Description
Sanae Hanekoma, alias Mr. H or CAT, runs Shibuya’s WildKat café while balancing roles as a guardian and shadow orchestrator within the Reapers' Game. Born March 3 (blood type A), his relaxed charm masks strategic precision, often dispensing cryptic guidance to steer events toward Shibuya’s preservation. As an Angel and Producer from the Higher Plane, he oversees the Game, enforcing rules and reporting to the Composer—yet his allegiance to the city drives him to skirt divine protocols, documented in his clandestine Secret Reports.

Dual identities define him: the elusive CAT, whose graffiti art weaves command codes like "enjoy the moment" into Shibuya’s streets, inspiring creativity and unity. This artistry extends to crafting Player Pins and O-Pins, tools critical to Game participants. Hanekoma intervenes at pivotal moments—halting Neku’s erasure of Shiki, binding Rhyme’s soul to a pin for Beat, and mentoring Neku to broaden his perspective. Though aligned with Composer Joshua, he covertly backs Sho Minamimoto’s Taboo Noise as a failsafe against Shibuya’s annihilation, accepting Fallen Angel status for this gambit.

In later years, Hanekoma grapples with digital mediums, critiquing screens’ limitations in conveying his codes while lamenting Composers’ passivity. His influence persists through parallel-world maneuvers, testing Neku via his Noise avatar Panthera Cantus, and observing Shibuya’s shifts from afar. Central to his ethos is the symbiosis of light and shadow; he embraces moral gray areas to safeguard the city’s vibrancy, leaving a legacy woven into its art, alliances, and survival—an enigma straddling boundaries, ever-guiding, ever-unseen.
