TV-Series
Description
Miranda Maverick is a supporting character in the anime Solty Rei. She is a woman in her late twenties to early thirties, with brown hair and hazel eyes, and stands at a height of 174 centimeters. She is the owner and operator of the Maverick Hunters, an independent bounty hunting agency that she named after her family name. The agency employs Roy Revant as a bounty hunter, and Miranda also serves as his landlord.

Her background is marked by personal tragedy: her husband was killed during the catastrophic event known as the Blast Fall, which devastated the city twelve years before the story begins. Despite this loss, Miranda chose to move forward with her life. She later became the foster mother of a young girl named Kasha Maverick, adopting her and raising her as her own daughter.

Miranda’s personality is generally kind, caring, and easygoing. She maintains a laid-back attitude in most situations and is known for her warm and motherly demeanor. However, she is not afraid to become aggressive when the situation calls for it, and she is fiercely protective of those she cares about, especially her daughter Kasha and her friends. On one occasion, she physically beats Roy out of a state of despair, demonstrating that she is willing to use forceful methods to help others when gentle persuasion fails.

Her motivations are grounded in supporting her found family and running her agency. She worries constantly about Roy’s well-being and about the safety of Kasha and other close individuals. Miranda’s role in the story is that of a stable, nurturing presence who provides employment, housing, and emotional support to the main characters. She is part of the family unit that includes Roy, Solty, Kasha, and others, and she is regarded as a maternal figure within that group. Her key relationships include her adoptive daughter Kasha, whom she raises with strength and care; Roy, whom she employs and looks after; and the other residents of her building, whom she treats as extended family.

Miranda does not possess any special combat abilities or supernatural powers. Her notable abilities are her organizational skills in running the agency and her emotional resilience. Over the course of the series, she remains a steady and reliable figure, helping others cope with their losses and uncertainties while continuing to manage her own grief and responsibilities.
