Description
Leon Elliott is a young boy with short blue hair and purple eyes who appears as a supporting character in the anime Black Cat. He was born in a country ravaged by civil war. When he was four years old, soldiers killed his parents, and he was subsequently raised by his older sister, who also died after being caught in a gunfight. Leon survived a conflict in which all adults perished, leaving only children alive. This traumatic background instilled in him a deep distrust of adults and society at large. In the anime, he is part of a group of orphans that includes Tim Vertical. Having been repeatedly ignored or abused by the adults around him, Leon sought greater power so that he could better protect his friends. Ironically, after he acquired that power, he was forced to leave those friends behind to help the Apostles of the Stars in their goal of remaking the world. Leon's motivations are rooted in a desire for security and loyalty to those he cares about, though his methods lead him to align with the antagonistic Apostles. His key relationships include his bond with the orphan group and his eventual interaction with Train Heartnet, who saves him during the final confrontation. Leon develops from a distrustful child driven by fear and a need for control into someone who volunteers to obtain fireworks for Eve, hoping the sound will trigger a reaction that prevents her from uniting with Eden. This act shows a willingness to help others even at personal risk. Leon's notable ability is his Tao power called Wind, which allows him to manipulate air. He can create strong gusts, form wind blades, generate tornadoes, and even suffocate opponents by controlling the air around them. He often travels using a snowboard that he propels with his wind powers.
