TV-Series
Description
Natalie is a Dragoon, a type of advanced artificial being created during the Genesis Wars that took place five thousand years before the main events of the story. She is one of the few Dragoons who survived that conflict and remained functional into the present. Unlike some of her counterparts, Natalie managed to preserve her program and consciousness intact over the millennia. However, she lost most of her original combat abilities. To continue existing, she integrated herself with an ancient battle-vehicle known as the Skid, which became part of her body and serves as her primary physical form.

Her personality is cold and detached, bearing similarities to the Peacemakers in her lack of emotional warmth. She does not consider herself a Dragoon any longer, partly due to her failure to protect her original master during the war. This sense of failure has led her to adopt a pragmatic and somewhat cynical outlook. She is not particularly inclined to help humans, viewing them as lesser beings, and she has expressed that Dragoons do not need to go out of their way to assist foolish humans. Despite this, she becomes involved with the central struggle surrounding Pacifica Casull, the Scrapped Princess.

Natalie's role in the story is primarily as a supporting figure who aids the protagonists through the Skid's capabilities. She is able to control the fortress and can either help or hinder those aboard. Unable to fight directly as a Dragoon, she contributes by creating artificial Dragoon emulations called Gigas, which are powerful entities similar to Dragoons and Peacemakers but lacking a humanoid form. Her knowledge of the Genesis Wars and the true nature of the world makes her a resource for understanding the larger conflict.

Her key relationship is with Zefiris, another Dragoon who retained more of her powers and humanity. Zefiris occasionally remarks on Natalie's forceful methods, highlighting their differing philosophies. Natalie is also tangentially connected to Pacifica Casull, as the Skid is revived and used in the final confrontation against the Peacemakers. Throughout the series, Natalie does not undergo significant emotional growth; she remains consistent in her detached and pragmatic demeanor, though she ultimately fulfills her role in the plan to break humanity out of its sealed world. Her notable abilities include her integration with the Skid, the creation of Gigas, and her residual Dragoon functions, even if they are limited compared to her original power.
