Fukami Rena serves in the SORD unit at Mihama Academy, an institution dedicated to training counter-terrorism and special operations personnel. She operates with a distinctive handgun named "Omen," originally the weapon of another operative, Aoi. Prior to the events chronicled in "Stargazer," Rena was sidelined by injuries sustained alongside fellow operative Maki Inohara, forcing a recovery period. This injury occurred before the overseas school trip undertaken by other SORD members featured in the film. Consequently, Rena was unable to participate in the central mission during that trip, the manhunt for a SORD deserter.
