Description
Haruka Fukugawa is a supporting character who first appears as a transfer student at Maito High School at the beginning of his second year. He is a childhood friend of the protagonist, Risa Koizumi, having known her before he moved overseas with his family. He spent much of his life abroad until the end of his first year of high school. Haruka comes from a family with some Western heritage, as his grandmother is a quarter British, making him one-quarter English.
In terms of physical appearance, Haruka is notably tall, standing 185 cm (approximately 6 feet 1 inch) tall, which makes him the second tallest character in the series and only one centimeter shorter than his cousin, Kuniumi Maitake. He has a lean, medium-muscular build despite not being particularly athletic. In the anime adaptation, he has light brown or dirty blonde hair and brown eyes, while in the original manga, his hair is depicted as strawberry blonde. His school uniform consists of a white dress shirt with a red star emblem, a loose-fitting red tie, brown dress pants, and brown or black sneakers.
