TV-Series
Description
Pop is one of the three main heroines of Sweet Valerian and lives in the city of Asialand alongside her companions Kanoko and Kate. In civilian life, she is the chief executive officer of Leek Cartridge, a video game company, and she spends much of her time testing and playing the video games produced by her own company. She is also fond of wearing hats, a habit reflected in her everyday appearance.

At the start of the story, Pop and her friends were on their way to take the test for their moped licenses when they came to the attention of a being called Ear Hermit. Instead of receiving moped licenses, the three girls were given Valerian Licenses, which unexpectedly transformed them into bunny-like heroines, much to their shock and horror. Pop's transformed identity is a grey bunny named Dopamine, and she activates her change using a wristband known as the digital clock wind.

In her transformed state, Pop fights alongside her teammates as a member of the Relaxation Combat Team Valerian. The team opposes the Stress Team, a group that locates stressed-out people and turns them into monsters. Pop's central motivation is defending the city and its residents from these threats, a duty she takes up after being reluctantly thrust into the role of a heroine. Her background in the video game industry and her habit of playing and testing games distinguish her within the group and give her a playful, game-oriented lifestyle.

Pop's key relationships are with Kanoko and Kate, who are both her close friends and her partners in battle. The trio also works with a companion called Panda-bu. As one of the three members of Sweet Valerian, Pop contributes to the team's combat efforts against the Stress Team's monster creations while balancing her responsibilities as the head of Leek Cartridge. Over the course of the series, she moves from being an ordinary young woman focused on her career to a committed defender of the city who regularly answers the call to fight evil.
