Description
Hana Kurokawa is a classmate of Tsuna Sawada and the best friend of Kyoko Sasagawa, the main heroine, at Namimori Middle School. She is known for having a mature and level-headed personality. In contrast to Kyokos innocent and carefree nature, Hana is highly observant and thoughtful, often noticing details that others miss. For example, she is aware that Tsuna has a crush on Kyoko and has been shown to become suspicious of the strange activities surrounding Tsuna and his friends, even if she never learns the full truth about the Mafia. Her birthday is April 20, she has type A blood, stands 158 cm tall, and weighs 48 kg.

Hana has a very specific and contradictory taste in romance. She has no interest in boys her own age, viewing them as immature. Instead, she has a strong crush on the 15-year-old version of Lambo, finding him handsome and mature. This attraction creates a comedic irony, as she absolutely despises young children. She is so irritated by the 5-year-old Lambo that she claims to break out in hives just from being annoyed by him. Despite her general disdain for children, her feelings for the teenage Lambo are persistent, and she makes efforts to get close to him whenever he appears.

In the story, Hana primarily serves as a supporting character and a close confidante to Kyoko. While she is largely unaware of the ongoing Mafia conflicts, her keen intuition often leads her to sense that something unusual is happening. During the Future Arc, her role becomes more significant. She takes the younger Kyoko, who has been transported ten years into the future, into her home to protect her from the Milfiore family. In this future timeline, Hana has a photograph in her home showing her standing intimately with a man whose face is silhouetted. This has led to strong speculation among the community that the man is Ryohei Sasagawa, Kyokos older brother, as a similar matching photo appears in Ryoheis future room.

Hana does not participate in combat and possesses no supernatural abilities. Her primary asset is her sharp intellect and perceptiveness, which allows her to act as a grounding presence among her more eccentric friends. Her key relationships are with Kyoko Sasagawa, whom she is fiercely loyal to, and with the two versions of Lambo, representing her unique romantic interest and her most notable source of frustration.
