Description
Adol Brinberg is a character who appears in both Code-E and its sequel series, Mission-E. He is of German nationality and has blonde hair and blue eyes. Adol is the twin brother of Mils Brinberg, and this relationship drives much of his motivation and character arc.
In the first series, Code-E, Adol has a playful and carefree demeanor. By the time of Mission-E, his personality undergoes a dark transformation following a traumatic incident that leaves his sister in a vegetative state. Consumed by grief and a need for vengeance, his once-playful nature is replaced by a grim and serious resolve. He holds Chinami Ebihara, the protagonist, responsible for what happened to his sister, and he resents all individuals with Type-E abilities, viewing them as his enemies. This leads him to join the Foundation, an organization dedicated to capturing and controlling Type-E users, placing him in direct opposition to the group OZ.
Adol is highly analytical and logical, with a deep interest in physics and robotics. He is a skilled operative who relies on his intelligence and espionage expertise rather than supernatural powers. Despite his hatred for Type-E users, a complex and conflicted affection for the character Maori Kimizuka begins to grow within him. Adol serves as a primary antagonist in Mission-E, and his development from a lighthearted student into a bitter agent is central to his narrative.
