Description
Otoha Sakurano is the central protagonist of the anime Sky Girls and one of the three initial pilots of the Sonic Diver squadron. She is a sixteen-year-old girl who holds the rank of Master Sergeant in the integrated human military and stands about 159 centimeters tall, with short bob-cut hair and yellow eyes. She pilots the Sonic Diver A2K0 Reijin, a sword-equipped unit she affectionately calls Zero.
Otoha comes from a remote island where her family runs a sword-training dojo, and she grew up away from the main military establishment. She is a master with the blade, and this swordsmanship is the ability that most clearly defines her as a fighter; apart from that, her other talents were largely unknown when she was selected as a pilot candidate.
