TV-Series
Description
Masaharu Tsuwabuki is the protagonist of the story. He is an ordinary teenage boy with short brown hair and yellow eyes. By nature he is quiet and reserved, rarely speaking to his classmates or even his friends. He prefers to keep to himself and often spends time lost in thought, daydreaming rather than engaging with others. At the start of the series he is in the same class as Sumomo Akihime, a new transfer student, though he has never spoken to her before. One day he accidentally collides with Sumomo, and shortly afterward he bumps into a disguised figure named Arthur, a servant from the magical world of Figurare. The collision causes Arthur to drop a bag of magical potions, and Masaharu inadvertently picks up one of them thinking it is his own soda. Upon drinking it, he transforms into a stuffed animal lamb at night, while retaining his human form during the day. Natsume Kisaragi, a friend who discovers him in his lamb form, applies a second potion that allows him to move and speak. To break the curse completely, Masaharu must collect seven stardrops with the help of a chosen girl, who turns out to be Sumomo Akihime. He is strictly forbidden from revealing his true identity to her, or else the transformation becomes permanent. The effects of the potion are tied to the phases of the moon: on a full moon he remains a stuffed animal for the full twenty‑four hours, while on a new moon he remains human for the full day, granting him brief moments of normal life. Masaharu is inducted into the Gardening Club by Natsume, which provides a natural setting for his interactions with Sumomo and their friend Nadeshiko Yaeno. As he works closely with Sumomo, his initially distant and solitary behavior gradually softens, and he develops genuine feelings for her. However, the story concludes with a bittersweet turn: after successfully collecting the seven stardrops, Masaharu loses all of his memories of the time spent as the stuffed lamb and of his bond with Sumomo. His notable ability is the transformation itself, along with the knowledge of the moon‑cycle rules that govern it. Despite his quiet nature, he serves as the central figure around whom the magical and romantic conflicts unfold.
