Description
Prima Asparas is a mysterious girl from the magical world of Figurare who appears in the anime as a self-proclaimed rival to the heroine Sumomo Akihime. In the series setting, Figurare is a magical realm whose Stellar Spinners, young women chosen to collect star drops, are trained at two schools, Pramu Cloris and Saint Asparas. Each year the top student from each school, given the title Prima, is sent to the human world, called Retroscena, to gather seven star drops in a goodwill competition intended to improve relations between the two institutions. Prima Asparas is therefore both a title and a character identity: she is the outstanding Stellar Spinner representing the Saint Asparas school, and in the human world she goes by the name Nona Yuuki, using an altered appearance that differs from her true Stellar Spinner form.
In appearance, she is a teenage girl with long blonde hair reaching past her hips and blue eyes, and she carries herself with the confidence that matches her reputation. She appears suddenly before Sumomo and immediately declares herself Sumomo's rival, addressing the heroine as Prima Plume, a title whose meaning leaves Sumomo and the protagonist entirely puzzled.
