Description
Gill is a Machine Mutant, a type of robotic being, who becomes an unexpected companion to Goku, Pan, and Trunks during their journey through space. His full serial designation is DB4649T2006RS, but he earns the name Gill from Goku, who imitates the recurring sound the robot makes. Created by the villainous Dr. Myu, Gill is initially programmed to lure powerful Saiyans to the planet M2 so their DNA can be harvested.
In terms of personality, Gill displays a surprising range of emotions for a machine. He forms a close bond with Pan, considering her his best friend, yet their relationship is defined by frequent arguments and one-sided physical and verbal abuse from the young girl, which often leaves him cowering in fear. Despite this treatment, he is fiercely loyal to her, once fighting a giant monster to save her when she gets lost.
