Description
Ki Hatsu, also known as Ji Fa or King Wu of Zhou, is a supporting character in the narrative. He is the second oldest son of Ki Shou, the Lord of the West, and the brother of Shuko. Ki Hatsu has black hair and blue eyes.

In the story, Ki Hatsu is the individual chosen to become the new ruler of the Zhou dynasty, a destiny that places him at the heart of the conflict against the corrupt Yin dynasty and the fox spirit Queen Dakki. When his father, Ki Shou, falls ill, the question of succession becomes critical. Ki Hatsu is considered as a potential successor, and his worthiness to lead is a matter of discussion among the other characters. He ultimately takes on the monumental task of leading the Zhou forces in their campaign against the Yin.

Ki Hatsu is depicted as a serious figure who feels the weight of the circumstances around him. He resents not being allowed enough time to properly mourn the passing of his father, a moment that highlights his sense of duty and personal grief being subordinated to the larger political and military crisis at hand. His primary motivation is tied to his role as the future leader of the Zhou and the responsibility of overthrowing Dakki's tyrannical regime to bring an end to the chaos plaguing the land.

His most significant relationship is with his father, Ki Shou, the Lord of the West. Following his father's death, Ki Hatsu steps into his role as a leader. He also interacts closely with Taikobo, the protagonist and executor of the Houshin Project, who recognizes Ki Hatsu's crucial position and works alongside him to lead the army against the Yin. While he does not possess the supernatural combat abilities of a Sennin like Taikobo, Ki Hatsu's importance lies in his royal lineage and his political and military leadership as the new king of Zhou, commanding the human forces in the rebellion against the dynasty.
