Perman No. 2 Buubii, usually called Booby, is a chimpanzee who serves as the second member of the Earth Perman team in the anime Pa-Pa-Pa the ★ Movie: Perman. His official superhero designation is Perman No. 2, while Buubii is the name of the chimpanzee in his ordinary form outside of hero work.
Buubii was chosen by Birdman, the alien superhero responsible for recruiting Permans, under a policy that treats animals and humans equally. In the modern continuity that includes the 2003 movie, he is a pet chimpanzee living with an elderly couple, a setup that allows him to participate in hero activities far more easily than in the original version of the story, in which he lived in a zoo and had to secretly sneak out at night.
