Description
Ikuko is the daughter of Mr. Otonashi, making her the granddaughter of the man who owns the Maison Ikkoku apartment building. She lives with her parents and her grandfather, and is the niece of Kyoko's late husband, Soichiro. This makes her a part of the family that Kyoko married into, and with whom Kyoko maintains a very warm and close relationship throughout the story. The Otonashi family, including Ikuko, is portrayed as kind, fun-loving, and incredibly supportive of Kyoko, treating her as their own daughter even after Soichiro's death.
