Description
May Jessica is the youngest member of the crew aboard the starship Sol Bianca, a vessel operated by a group of female pirates. She initially comes aboard as a stowaway, drawn onto the ship by its power. After April, one of the senior crew members, decides to help her locate her parents on Earth, May learns from her uncle and aunt that her parents were killed by another group of pirates. With no family left and nowhere else to go, she chooses to stay with the crew and becomes a permanent member, taking on the role of the ship's chief engineer. Despite her youth, she possesses remarkable technical skill and is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the vessel, demonstrating a genius-level aptitude for engineering. She also pilots a powered, heavily armored battlesuit for work, which is apple-green and red in color and resembles a landmate-type mecha.

May's personality is lively and at times immature, which is understandable given her age and isolated upbringing in space. She enjoys wearing frilly clothes and often prioritizes having fun over completing her studies; aboard the ship, she attends a holographic simulated school program but is frequently more interested in play than homework. She views the world in a fairly simple way, a perspective shaped by her youth and the confined environment of the starship. Despite her occasional immaturity, she is deeply caring and considers every member of the crew to be like family. She forms a particularly close bond with June, another young crew member, and the two share a sister-like relationship. They often spend time together and are frequently left in charge of the ship when the others are on missions. May also develops a light crush on Rim, a male stowaway who later joins their journey. Her loyalty to her crewmates is strong, and she looks out for them as they would for her.

In terms of her role in the story, May serves as the heart of the Sol Bianca's technical operations, keeping the ship running through her engineering abilities. She contributes to missions by piloting her battlesuit when needed, but she is most often found maintaining the vessel or staying behind to mind it with June. Her presence adds a youthful and earnest perspective to the crew, and her personal journey from a lost child to a valued member of the pirate family reflects a subtle arc of finding belonging and purpose among people who accept her.
