Description
Nathan, often referred to as Nate, is the main protagonist of the Yo-kai Watch series. He is an 11-year-old fifth-grade boy living in the town of Springdale. His ordinary life changes dramatically when he frees a Yo-kai named Whisper from a stone capsule, receiving the Yo-kai Watch in return. This device grants him the ability to see, befriend, and summon supernatural beings known as Yo-kai, which are normally invisible to humans.
Nate's personality is defined by his strong desire to be seen as anything but average. He dislikes being called ordinary and often goes out of his way to prove himself, whether by helping others or trying to impress his classmate Katie Forester. Despite this, he remains a down-to-earth and kind-hearted boy who genuinely cares about his friends, both human and Yo-kai.
