Description
Kyle is a member of the professional vampire-hunting group known as the Marcus Brothers, a widely renowned clan second only to D in their success against the Nobility. The group treats Leila, the sole non-blood relative, as a younger sister. Kyle projects an aloof and confident demeanor, often brimming with eagerness as soon as a bounty is spotted. He openly relishes the thrill of killing monsters and vampires, and his talk tends toward flippant teasing, especially when he flirts with Leila for sport.

Beneath this bravado lies a more complicated personality. He shows passing generosity in small moments, such as tipping a service station attendant, yet his priorities quickly reveal a colder pragmatism: he is willing to suggest letting the abducted Charlotte end her own life if it speeds up the reward. Similarly, he directs genuine protectiveness toward Leila but remains indifferent to Charlotte’s plight. His actions also betray a sharp intelligence: he capably drives and diagnoses the group’s armored vehicle, assesses risks before charging in, and wields his signature weapons with remarkable expertise.

Kyle’s primary motivation is the bounty on Charlotte’s recovery, though the fundamental draw for him is the chance to hunt supernatural prey. Within the story he appears as a supporting antagonist of sorts, his crew competing with D for the same quarry. The Marcus Brothers intercept Meier Link’s party only to be overwhelmed by the vampire’s defenses and the hostile landscape; Kyle falls during this ill-fated pursuit, his death underscoring the lethal danger of the mission. His character arc is minimal, yet his final moments reinforce the harsh reality that confidence and skill alone are no guarantee of survival.

Physically, Kyle is recognized by his medium-length orange hair, green eyes, and accessories such as a headband, an open shirt, and a cross necklace. His notable ability is masterful handling of a pair of silver cross-shaped throwing blades, light enough to carry everywhere and sharp enough to slice through bone. He hurls them with pinpoint accuracy, catches them with ease, and wields them equally well in both hands. By spinning the blades rapidly while leaping, he can even achieve a brief hover-glide, converting his weapons into a limited means of aerial mobility.
