Description
Chikako Shirai is a student at Holy Forest Academy and a member of the trio led by the manipulative Miyabi Aizawa, often seen in her company along with the third member, Yuki Yoshizawa. Physically, she is depicted as an adolescent female with brown eyes and shoulder-length brown hair. While often an auxiliary figure in the group's schemes, a specific storyline brings her personal struggles into sharp focus.

Chikako’s background is marked by family turmoil that drives her actions in the series. Her father is forced into an illegal financial situation, which brings significant shame and hardship to the family, a matter of grave importance given the strict social emphasis on reputation in Japanese culture. This disgrace and the resulting financial strain infuriate Chikako, leading her to act out against her circumstances. Her primary motivation is born from this anger and desperation; she seeks to obtain money quickly, seeing it as a solution to her family's problems and a way to rebel against the superficial value she believes society places on wealth.

Her role in the story culminates in an attempt to con older men for money through compensated dating. In a twist, her target becomes the protagonist, Eikichi Onizuka. Instead of falling for her scheme or punishing her harshly, Onizuka offers her the cash she seeks along with a frank discussion about the emptiness of material wealth. This confrontation serves as the core of her character arc, challenging her cynical view that money is the ultimate answer. Her key relationship is with Onizuka, who acts as an unexpected moral counterpoint to her scheme. Her relationship with Miyabi is one of association, serving as a follower within the group's dynamic. Chikako's development is shown through this incident, as she is forced to confront her own actions and the simplistic beliefs that drove her to them, moving past a shallow understanding of value and reputation through Onizuka’s unconventional guidance. Beyond this major episode, she appears in other school-based scenarios, such as in connection with a chain letter incident, but her most significant and defining moments are tied to her personal crisis regarding family and money.
