Description
Kicks Rockwell first encounters the protagonist, Taito Masaki, during a voyage on a cruise ship. Their initial meeting is sparked by the pursuit of a fugitive soldier codenamed Rabbit, an event which sets the broader narrative in motion.
Living a drifter's existence, Kicks involves himself in the central conflict largely out of a sense of camaraderie with Taito and a personal interest in the young fighter's journey. He employs a combat style with ninja-like attributes, utilizing high speed and projectile weapons that resemble shuriken.
Though he aligns with Taito's group and takes part in the assault on the antagonist's stronghold, the Spiral Palace, Kicks does not engage in any formally featured one-on-one battles. His martial contributions are confined to minor skirmishes, including a brief but notable confrontation against the warrior Ilya Orlov.
