Description
Glen is a central figure in the story, introduced as a full-fledged and highly capable bounty hunter working for the Ghomvak Security & Investigations agency. He acts as the primary mentor to his apprentice, Iria, who is also his younger sister, though the exact nature of their familial bond is left somewhat ambiguous. At one point, another character suggests that Glen might instead be a close older male figure whom Iria refers to as brother, using the Japanese term onii-san which can denote either a biological sibling or a respected older protector. Regardless of the precise definition, their relationship is one of deep trust and respect, with Glen having taught Iria much of what she knows about the hunting profession.

In terms of his role within the narrative, Glen operates as a steady and experienced professional. He is often accompanied by his partner, Bob, an agent who finds high-quality jobs for the team. The story’s inciting incident occurs when the trio takes on a rescue mission for a hijacked spaceship called the Karma. It is on this mission that they discover the true nature of the threat: not ordinary hijackers, but an apparently indestructible alien known as Zeiram. When Zeiram proves too powerful, Glen makes a pivotal decision to destroy the entire ship in an attempt to kill the creature, seemingly sacrificing his own life in the process. He stays behind to ensure Iria can escape, showcasing his core motivation of protecting her above all else.

Glen is depicted as a composed and courageous individual, his actions driven by a strong sense of duty and a protective instinct toward his apprentice and partner. He wears a blue cloak and hair beads similar to those Iria wears, marking their connection visually. His appearance includes blonde or yellow hair and purple eyes. Following the explosion of the Karma, he is presumed dead, and this loss serves as a major catalyst for Iria's development from a rookie into a more determined and independent hunter.

However, Glen reappears later in the series in a tragic state. He is discovered to have been partially assimilated by Zeiram, the monster having absorbed him in a way that kept him alive but merged with its own being. This fate is a testament to Zeiram's terrifying ability to sustain itself by assimilating other life forms, learning whatever the host organism knows. In his final appearance, no longer fully himself, Glen is aware enough of his condition to beg Iria to kill him, freeing him from the creature’s control. She is forced to comply, making his death a profound and sorrowful turning point in her journey against Zeiram. Prior to this assimilation, his notable abilities include those of a veteran interstellar bounty hunter, proficient in combat and tactical decision-making under extreme pressure, as demonstrated when he chose to destroy a massive spacecraft to eliminate his target.
