Description
Lopmon is a Rookie-level Beast Digimon that appears in the anime Digimon Frontier. It is one of a pair of extremely rare twin Digimon, the other being Terriermon. While Terriermon has a single horn on its head, Lopmon has three horns. Its ecosystem is mysterious, and little is understood about its origins beyond its classification as a Beast Digimon. Lopmon is recognized as one of the Holy Digimon, a group of virtuous Digital Monsters.

In terms of personality, Lopmon is known for being a lonely crybaby. It is more timid and sensitive than its twin, often prone to tears and needing reassurance. Despite this emotional disposition, it demonstrates unexpected power in battle when the situation calls for it. Its gentle nature makes it approachable, but also vulnerable to fear and uncertainty.

In Digimon Frontier, Lopmon appears as an inhabitant of a jungle region. It is first seen alongside a group of Woodmon and Budmon, living peacefully until a sudden attack by Tankdramon and squadrons of Allomon and Megadramon threatens their home. Lopmon’s role in the story is that of a peaceful resident caught in the conflict, seeking safety and assistance from the heroes who arrive to defend the jungle. Its presence underscores the stakes of the larger war against evil forces in the Digital World.

Lopmon’s relationships in Frontier are primarily with the other jungle inhabitants, including the Woodmon and Budmon. There is no indication of a close partnership with any of the main human characters; instead, it represents one of the many innocent Digimon whose lives are disrupted by the chaos. Its bond with its twin Terriermon is not explored within Frontier itself, as Terriermon does not appear in this season.

The most notable ability of Lopmon is its special attack, Blazing Ice. This technique fires a blast of icy bullets at its opponents, allowing it to fight from a distance and inflict cold-based damage. Although Lopmon is not primarily a combat-oriented Digimon, this move grants it effective offensive capability when it must defend itself or others.
