MaloMyotismon is an Evil King Digimon and the final form of Myotismon, appearing as the ultimate antagonist of Digimon Adventure 02. Its background is rooted in Myotismons survival after his defeat in the earlier series. Rather than being destroyed, Myotismons spirit endured and secretly attached itself to the human Yukio Oikawa, manipulating him from within. Over time, Oikawas obsession with reaching the Digital World and the dark spores implanted in children provided the means for Myotismon to regain power and assume a more formidable shape. When Oikawa and the infected children attempted to cross into the Digital World, they arrived instead in a dark dimension where MaloMyotismon emerged, having used Oikawa as a vessel for its rebirth. Unlike VenomMyotismon, a beast-like form that sacrificed intelligence for raw power, MaloMyotismon retained its full intellect and surpassed its predecessor in every aspect. This form is described as having a cruel, spiteful, and arrogant personality. It is driven solely by its own desires and will resort to any means to satisfy them, showing no mercy or hesitation. Its motivations are to assert dominance and to destroy those who oppose it, particularly the DigiDestined. In the story, MaloMyotismon serves as the final villain of Digimon Adventure 02. Upon its full emergence, it demonstrated its power by killing Arukenimon in a single strike to test its new abilities. It then confronted the DigiDestined and their partner Digimon, proving to be an overwhelming threat. Its defeat came not through brute force but through the combined light of the DigiDestineds Digivices, which weakened it and ultimately led to its destruction. Key relationships include its parasitic connection to Yukio Oikawa, whom it possessed and used as a host, and its history with the original DigiDestined who had faced Myotismon before. It also regarded Arukenimon and Mummymon as disposable tools. Development is minimal, as MaloMyotismon appears only in the final episodes and remains a static embodiment of malice.
