Gerolamo Alchieri is an Italian actor and voice actor known for his extensive work in dubbing, particularly providing the Italian voices for numerous characters in anime and animated films. His career is rooted in classical theater, which he transitioned from to become a prominent figure in the Italian dubbing industry beginning in 1992.

Alchieri received his early drama training in the United States at the Memorial High School in Joplin, Missouri, before returning to Italy to attend the Teatro Stabile di Genova. In the years that followed, he became a key figure in the Roman theater scene, spending over a decade with the Cooperativa attori e tecnici and performing in numerous productions directed by Attilio Corsini. This extensive stage work, including performances in plays directed by Luca Ronconi and Marco Sciaccaluga, laid the foundation for his subsequent career in voice acting.

Since moving into dubbing, Alchieri has lent his voice to a wide array of characters in Japanese anime. Among his most recognized roles are Toshiki Miyamizu, the father of the protagonist in the internationally acclaimed film Your Name.. He also voiced the character Ohma in the fantasy epic The Deer King. His work in long-running and popular series includes the role of Hideki Nogi in the martial arts anime Kengan Ashura and Daisuke Aramaki in Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie. In the Lupin III franchise, he provided the voice for the Capo della polizia di Tokyo in the TV special Lupin III: Crisis in Tokyo.

Alchieri has been a consistent presence in the dubbing of the magical girl genre, particularly within the Pretty Cure franchise. He voiced the character Klein in Fresh Pretty Cure! and Lord Akudaikaan in Futari wa Precure Splash Star. Beyond these specific roles, his anime voice work is prolific and varied. He has been the Italian voice for characters such as Kowalski in the Madagascar franchise, the Joker in Batman: Under the Red Hood, and various roles in the Digimon series, including Yukio Oikawa and MaloMyotismon in Digimon Adventure 02 and Mercurymon in Digimon Frontier.

He has provided voices for multiple characters in the Star Wars animated universe, such as Even Piell, Moralo Eval, and Quarrie.
