Description
Misumi Ikaruga is a young man with light purple hair and yellow-orange eyes, distinguished by a mole under his right eye. He dresses casually, often wearing a hoodie with a triangle pattern, and has ear piercings. He is a member of the Summer Troupe of the Mankai Company, joining as its fifth member after being found living in the dormitory room 203 without permission, surrounded by triangular objects.

His personality is defined by an intense, singular fascination with triangles. He is consistently enthusiastic and behaves as a pure eccentric, or oddball, whose thoughts are almost always occupied by triangles in some form. This fixation extends to his perception of everyday objects, such as viewing onigiri rice balls as mysterious triangular shapes. His boundless energy and unique thought process lead him to physically express his excitement, sometimes running along dorm walls and ceilings, showcasing his unexpectedly high physical abilities. Beyond this, he is friendly and free-spirited, known for being able to communicate with cats and having many friends in the neighborhood.

Misumi's motivations are deeply tied to his love for triangles and his connection to the Mankai Company. His most treasured possession is a set square, a triangular ruler given to him by his grandfather, Hachizumi Ikaruga, who was the original playwright for the troupe. His grandfather also taught him the basics of acting, which provides a foundation for his role in the Summer Troupe. He chose to live in the dorms simply because he thought the roof was the most triangular. In the story, he works as a part-timer but primarily dedicates his time to the company.

His role in the story is as a key member of the Summer Troupe, a unit specializing in lively slapstick comedy. His bizarre perspective and physical comedy contribute significantly to the troupe's performances. His key relationships include his bond with his grandfather, who inspired his acting and his love for triangles, and his friendship with his roommate Kumon. He shares a connection with his troupe mates, including Sakuya, Tsumugi, Hisoka, and Azuma, as well as other members of the company like Citron and Homare, with whom he is often grouped as a troublemaker.

In terms of development, Misumi's character arc involves channeling his eccentricities and physical talents into meaningful theatrical performances. His unusual abilities, such as parkour and his high level of physical fitness, become assets on stage. Notable abilities include his parkour skills, his peculiar talent for scaling walls and ceilings, and his capacity to communicate with cats. His growth is seen as he learns to apply his unique worldview and the acting fundamentals taught by his grandfather to become a dedicated member of the troupe.
