Description
Andrey Sergeivich Kalinin is a senior officer within the antiterrorist organization Mithril, holding the rank of Lieutenant Commander and serving as the Operations Director aboard the submarine Tuatha de Danaan. He is also the commanding officer of Sousuke Sagara and acts as a military strategist for captain Teletha Testarossa. Kalinin is a seasoned soldier with a past in the Soviet Spetsnaz special forces. During his time with the Spetsnaz, he led the team that discovered a crashed Japanese airliner; the only survivor was a three-year-old child, Sousuke Sagara. Kalinin took the boy in and later became his foster father, a relationship that remains significant throughout the story.
Kalinin is characterized by a calm, cool, and collected demeanor. He rarely shows emotion and maintains an almost unchanging expression even in the most stressful situations.
