Description
Piccolo Jr., usually referred to simply as Piccolo, is a Namekian warrior introduced in Dragon Ball Z as a continuation of the rivalry that began in the earlier Dragon Ball series. He is the final son and reincarnation of the demon King Piccolo, who created him in his last moments by spitting out an egg carrying his consciousness, memories, and desire for revenge. Because of this spiritual link, Piccolo Jr. inherited his father's ambition to conquer the Earth and avenge his defeat at the hands of Goku. In his earliest appearances he used the alias Ma Junior, and his connection to Kami, the guardian of Earth, meant that his death would also cause Kami's death and the loss of the Dragon Balls.
In terms of personality, Piccolo Jr. begins as a cold, ruthless, and calculating antagonist. He is cunning in battle and shows little regard for others, embodying the demonic traits passed down from King Piccolo. Over time, however, he becomes more reserved, stoic, and disciplined, speaking little unless the situation demands it.
