Description
Jorge is a blue-skinned ogre who works as an assistant to Koenma, the prince of the Spirit World. He is a character created exclusively for the anime adaptation, as he does not appear in the original manga. In terms of appearance, Jorge is depicted as an ordinary-sized ogre with long, thinning blond hair and a single horn on his head. He typically wears a simple brown loincloth with black stripes.
Personality-wise, Jorge is generally outspoken, laid-back, and optimistic. He often acts as a voice of reason for his boss, Koenma, and is frequently shown encouraging him to have more faith in the abilities of Yusuke Urameshi and his team. Unlike the often-stressed Koenma, Jorge is more grounded and consistently believes that Yusuke will find a way to succeed. Despite his cheerful and helpful demeanor, he is notably unsatisfied with his clerical duties. His personal dream is to work in entertainment, specifically as a singer or an announcer.
