Description
Chocolate Misu is the elder sister of Tira Misu and a core member of the Sorcerer Hunters, a group dedicated to protecting civilians from tyrannical magic users. She was raised alongside her sister and the Glacé brothers, Carrot and Marron, forming a deep childhood bond with them. Her lineage carries significant divine importance, as she is revealed to be the reincarnation of Kurin, the Goddess of the South, a role that mirrors her sister Tira's identity as the reincarnated goddess Apros of the West.

Assertive, temperamental, and possessing a short temper, Chocolate balances volatile aggression with fervent romanticism. Her most defining trait is an unwavering and obsessive romantic fixation on Carrot Glacé, whom she persistently calls "Darling". She relentlessly pursues his affection, often throwing herself at him in a straightforward and amorous manner, a display that usually leaves Carrot terrified and fleeing from her advances. Despite her outwardly dominant and sadistic demeanor, she harbors secret shōjo-esque romantic fantasies in which Carrot appears as a well-groomed, debonair suitor, and she sees herself in a meek, docile, or submissive role, a stark contrast to her commanding reality. She is also intensely jealous and can become vicious and ferocious, mercilessly attacking Carrot upon any perceived disloyalty or infidelity.

Her role in the story is defined by her fierce loyalty to her team, her protective instinct toward her sister Tira, and her essential function in combat. Early in her career, she operates independently alongside Gateau Mocha, with whom she forms a strategic partnership rooted in mutual respect and shared trauma, before the pair eventually merge with the larger Sorcerer Hunters group. In battle, she is known for her lethal precision with a garrote wire, which she uses to dispatch foes with savage efficiency. Her brutality proves particularly vital during missions to subdue Carrot when he undergoes feral transformations, as she is able to restore his humanity by beating him back to normal, a task she executes with markedly harsher methods than her sister Tira. Her combat attire varies across adaptations; in the manga and OVAs she wears a dark, militaristic dominatrix outfit with specific historical insignia, while the television anime substitutes this for a red biker-themed ensemble. At the conclusion of the anime narrative, post-rebirth, she resumes her original manga design alongside Tira.

Key relationships are central to her character arc. Though fiercely loyal to her sister Tira, sibling rivalry over Carrot's love creates periodic strains on their solidarity. Her alliance with Gateau Mocha functions as a partnership based on pragmatic mutual respect and shared history. In the manga's conclusion, while she reluctantly concedes to Carrot's marriage to Tira, she remains undeterred in her relentless romantic crusade, vowing to bear his children and persisting in her efforts to seduce him. Across official narratives, her development emphasizes an unyielding devotion to her team and a romantic resolve that remains essentially unconsummated, perpetuating a blend of comedic friction and dramatic stakes within the group's dynamic. Her notable abilities include mastery of the garrote wire as her primary weapon, exceptional skill in its lethal application, and a divine heritage as the reincarnated Goddess of the South, which ties her to enhanced combat abilities and central thematic motifs in the story's cosmic struggles.
