Description
Carrot Glace is the main protagonist and de facto leader of a group of warriors who protect ordinary people known as Parsoners from oppressive Sorcerers on the Spooner Continent. He is seventeen years old with black hair cut to his ears and brown eyes, and his typical attire includes a tank top, boots, and arm guards. Carrot carries a longsword, though he rarely wields it effectively due to extreme imprecision, often relying on his team for conventional combat.

He was born to Onion and Apricot Glacé, who were former Sorcerer Hunters and members of the Haz Knights, and he grew up alongside his younger brother Marron Glacé. The family also adopted the Misu sisters, Tira and Chocola, after their father, Zaha Torte, abandoned them. Carrot shares a very strong fraternal bond with Marron, having protected him from bullies in childhood who targeted his brother's feminine appearance, and Marron later returns this protection in battle.

Carrot's primary combat ability is Zoanthropy, which is triggered when he is hit by a Sorcerer's magic. This power activates one of his twelve beast genes, causing him to transform into a giant, uncontrollable monster that correlates to the animals of the Chinese zodiac. In the anime, Tira Misu must whip him to pacify him and revert him to his normal state, whereas in the manga, she weakens his monster form so that Marron can extract the absorbed magic from his body. He has demonstrated the ability to transform twice in a single fight, and one OVA features a draconic transformation. This power stems from his identity as the human reincarnation of Hakaishin, the God of Destruction. Despite his monstrous power, he possesses no inherent magical ability and is considered the weakest member of the team in terms of conventional strength and skill.

His personality is marked by an extreme libido and a lascivious, perverse nature, leading him to comically pursue nearly every woman he meets for dates or sex. The only women he does not pursue are Tira and Chocola Misu, whom he views strictly as family due to a brotherly affection developed during their childhood. This dynamic creates significant tension, as both sisters harbor deep romantic love for him, and they perceive his pursuit of other women as infidelity. This often results in Carrot being punished by their whips, which fuels his fear of them. Despite his lecherous behavior, he displays chivalry by immediately ceasing advances upon learning a woman has a boyfriend, and he possesses a good heart, deeply caring for his friends and family. He has quirky habits, such as eating objects off the ground and choking on them, and he often trips or falls while proclaiming his desire for women.

Carrot experiences notable character development throughout the series, particularly in the manga. While early narratives highlight his avoidance of romantic commitment to the Misu sisters, an episode in the animated adaptation shows him feeling dejected when they are absent, hinting at a hidden attachment. In the manga, this development is more pronounced and conclusive: he eventually professes his love to both Tira and Chocola, marries Tira, and acknowledges Chocola's determination to bear his first child. His identity as a divine reincarnation and his connection to larger conflicts introduces darker thematic layers in later stages of the story.
