Brett Weaver is an American voice actor known for his extensive work in English-language dubs of anime series, primarily during the 1990s and 2000s. He was born on November 16, 1966, in Lafayette, Louisiana. Weaver began his career in radio before transitioning to voice-over work. He became a prominent figure in the industry through his association with ADV Films, a Houston-based company that was a major producer of English dubs during that era. His entry into voice acting was facilitated by fellow actor Amanda Winn Lee, with whom he had performed in children's theatre; she encouraged him to audition for ADV Films.

Weaver's career is marked by a wide range of roles in numerous anime series and films. He is recognized for playing lead and supporting characters across various genres. Among his most notable roles is Carrot Glace in the series Sorcerer Hunters, a part he played across multiple volumes and releases. He also voiced the character Tora in the various adaptations of Ushio & Tora, including the original OVA and the later television series. Another significant role is Toji Suzuhara in the iconic franchise Neon Genesis Evangelion, where he provided the voice for the character in the original series' later episodes, the films Death and Rebirth and The End of Evangelion, and the more recent Rebuild of Evangelion film, Evangelion: 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon A Time. He also voiced Gai Daigoji in Martian Successor Nadesico and Roy Focker in The Super Dimension Fortress Macross.
