Description
Jeffrey, scion of the Mailstar knightly lineage, inherits a legacy of martial honor but none of its physical aptitude. Frail and sickly, he stumbles through swordplay with calamitous ineptitude—tripping over blades or concussing himself mid-spar. His mother Josephine, a scheming aristocrat, relentlessly engineers his fraudulent heroism through hired sorceresses who stage-manage triumphs.

Buoyed by Josephine’s ceaseless adulation, Jeffrey parrots her empty mantras like “I’ll be fine” while charging obliviously into peril. Unbeknownst to him, Josephine shadows his misadventures beneath a burlap disguise, savagely pummeling critics who expose his inadequacies—violence he dismisses as random acts by strangers.

A fabricated bandit ambush orchestrated by Josephine backfires when genuine mercenaries deride his flailing efforts. Enraged, she abandons stealth to assault the mockers, spurring Jeffrey to briefly channel defiant competence: he nicks the bandit leader before swooning at his own bloodstained blade. Subsequent campaigns unravel further farce—Josephine’s pyrotechnic “Flaming Knights” prove as hapless as her son, requiring external salvations. Final chaos erupts facing warlord Goldias, exposed as Jeffrey’s long-absent father, culminating in a brawling family clash resolved only by Josephine’s unrestrained ferocity.
