Nicola Bartolini Carrassi is an Italian voice actor, dialogue writer, dubbing director, and producer, recognized for his extensive contributions to the Italian-language adaptations of numerous anime series and films. Born Nicola Carrassi on August 1, 1971, in La Spezia, Italy, he began his career in voice acting in 1987. In 1999, he relocated to Hollywood, California, and subsequently adopted the professional name Ryan Carrassi for his work in the American entertainment industry.

He is particularly well-known for providing the Italian voice for a wide array of prominent anime characters. One of his most notable and long-running roles was as the first Italian voice of Brock in the Pokémon anime, a part he voiced in the series, several movies including Pokémon Heroes - Latias & Latios, and the short Pikachu's Summer Vacation. He also voiced the character Justy Ueki Tylor, the protagonist of the series The Irresponsible Captain Tylor. His other significant anime roles include Kimball in Parasite Dolls, Galford in Samurai Shodown: The Motion Picture, Jeffrey in Slayers: The Book of Spells, and both Nagisa Sawa and Kazunari Urushizaki in the Embracing Love: Cherished Spring OAV. He also voiced the titular character in the children's anime series On-chan.

Beyond performance, Bartolini Carrassi has had a prolific career behind the scenes. He has frequently served as the dubbing director and adapter for Italian versions of anime, overseeing projects such as the series On-chan and the OAV Parasite Dolls. He also wrote the Italian dialogues for the latter. His extensive staff credits include work as a scriptwriter, translator, and executive producer on numerous titles, including Slam Dunk, Kodocha, Marmalade Boy, and various entries in the Sailor Moon franchise. In addition to his voice work for animation, his Italian voice acting credits also include video games, most notably providing the voice for Obi-Wan Kenobi in several Italian-localized Star Wars video game titles.
