Description
Kyros was born into the slums of Dressrosa, where he grew up as a troublemaker with a reputation for violence. At the age of fifteen, he killed the man who murdered a close friend, an act that brought him into direct conflict with King Riku. Instead of punishing him severely, the king recognized Kyros potential and recruited him into the royal army. Through years of service, Kyros rose to become the captain of the Dressrosa army. He is perhaps best known as a legendary gladiator in the Corrida Colosseum, where he achieved a record of three thousand victories and remained undefeated. His prowess in the arena earned him a statue in his honor and the adoration of the people.

Kyros married Princess Scarlett, the eldest daughter of King Riku, after saving her from pirates. She initially disliked him, but she eventually fell in love with him, and the couple had a daughter named Rebecca. When Donquixote Doflamingo staged a coup and seized control of Dressrosa, Scarlett was killed, leaving Kyros to raise Rebecca alone. During the upheaval, Kyros lost his left leg. He was later transformed into a toy by Sugar, one of Doflamingo officers. As a toy, everyone in Dressrosa forgot his existence, including his own daughter. He became known as the One-Legged Soldier, also called the Thunder Soldier, and spent ten years watching over Rebecca from the shadows, unable to reveal his true identity.

Kyros personality is defined by unwavering loyalty, fierce determination, and a deep sense of remorse. He carries immense guilt over his past, particularly the violence of his youth, and this regret causes him to avoid physical contact with his daughter Rebecca, believing himself unworthy. His primary motivation is to protect Rebecca and restore peace to Dressrosa. This love for his daughter and his duty to his homeland drive him to endure a decade of isolation and hardship as a toy. His willpower is extraordinary, as he retained his consciousness, memories, and sense of purpose even after being turned into an object meant to strip him of his humanity.

In the Dressrosa arc, Kyros plays a vital role in the uprising against Doflamingo. When the Straw Hat Pirates arrive to liberate the kingdom, Kyros regains his human form and joins the final assault. He fights alongside the Straw Hats and the Dressrosa resistance, directly confronting and defeating his sworn enemy Diamante. His participation is decisive in the battle, and his return to human form becomes a powerful symbol of the kingdom recovery.

Kyros key relationships center on his family. His daughter Rebecca is his primary motivation and the reason he continues to fight. His wife Scarlett, now deceased, represents the love and normal life he lost. Viola, Scarlett sister, is his family member who worked against Doflamingo from within the enemy ranks. King Riku, his father-in-law and former king, is someone to whom Kyros remains loyal. His relationship with Doflamingo is one of intense enmity, as Doflamingo not only stole his kingdom and killed his wife but also transformed him into a toy as a trophy of conquest.

Kyros development spans from a violent street thug to a legendary gladiator, then to a devoted husband and father, and ultimately to a tragic toy and a triumphant liberator. His journey demonstrates that physical form is less important than strength of spirit. He begins as a man defined by his past violence, but through his marriage and fatherhood, he finds a purpose beyond fighting. The ten years he spends as a toy test his resilience, and he emerges with his will unbroken. When he regains his human form, he completes his arc by defeating his enemy and helping restore his kingdom.

In terms of notable abilities, Kyros is a highly skilled swordsman who fights with a single sword and does not use shields. His mastery of swordsmanship was developed over decades of gladiatorial combat and military service. Even without any Devil Fruit powers, his skills allowed him to defeat giants, fish-men underwater, and powerful officers of the Donquixote Family. He possesses Armament Haki, which he used effectively in battle, and his combat experience is vast. Despite losing his left leg and being forced to fight as a toy, he remained a formidable fighter, overcoming physical limitations through skill, strategy, and sheer determination.
