TV-Series
Description
Baron Tamago is a knight-ranked combatant of the Big Mom Pirates, a crew of notorious pirates led by one of the Four Emperors of the sea. He is a tall, slim man, standing over three meters in height, which is a trait of his race, the Longleg Tribe. His most defining physical features are his extraordinarily long and thin legs, a large, curling mustache, and a prominent scar over his left eye, which he lost in a past battle. He almost always appears wearing a pink formal suit, a bow tie, and sunglasses, and balances a small teacup and saucer on top of his head from which he occasionally drinks.

In terms of personality, Tamago is consistently polite, speaking in a calm and gentlemanly manner. He often uses French words in his speech and has a tendency to call inexperienced or foolish people half-boiled or raw, a verbal tic related to his egg-based theme. He is a professional who prioritizes completing his missions above all else, even if it means abandoning or sacrificing a comrade. For instance, he approved of a fellow crew member shooting their injured partner, Pekoms, when that partner's sentiments interfered with their orders. Despite this ruthless dedication to duty, Tamago is not cruel for its own sake; he prefers to settle matters peacefully through negotiation when possible. Like most of his crewmates, he is terrified of his captain, Charlotte Linlin, also known as Big Mom, and is careful not to incur her wrath.

Tamago holds the position of a knight within the Big Mom Pirates, a title rarely given to those outside of the Charlotte family. He is partnered with Pekoms, a lion-like mink, and the two are frequently seen together, primarily tasked with collecting the monthly candy tribute from Fish-Man Island. Their relationship is long-standing, and Tamago shows a degree of care for his partner, even after approving his apparent execution, later stating he wishes to bring him before Big Mom to beg for forgiveness. Another significant relationship is with Pedro, a jaguar mink. The two have a history, as Pedro was responsible for taking Tamago's left eye during a prior infiltration of Big Mom's territory. This past conflict sets the stage for a rematch between them during the events on Whole Cake Island.

Tamago's role in the story is that of a supporting antagonist and a formidable enforcer for the Big Mom Pirates. He first appears as a collector of tribute, acting as a calm and negotiable intermediary. As the story progresses, he becomes a direct obstacle to the protagonists, tasked with retrieving the scientist Caesar Clown and later securing the groom, Sanji, for a political wedding. He is a loyal and capable operative who follows orders meticulously.

As a fighter, Baron Tamago is highly skilled and dangerous, with a bounty of 429 million berries. His combat abilities are enhanced by his Longleg Tribe heritage, allowing him to perform powerful and swift kick-based attacks, which he can clad in armament haki to strike even logia-type users. He also wields a cane sword as a secondary weapon. His primary power, however, comes from the Egg Egg Fruit, a zoan-type devil fruit. This fruit gives his body the properties of an egg. If his body is cut or broken apart, he does not die but instead evolves into a new, stronger form. His first form is the Baron Tamago, a human-egg hybrid. Upon being bisected, he hatches into his second form, Viscount Hiyoko, a small, yellow, chick-like creature. If this form is also destroyed, he evolves into his final and most powerful state, Count Niwatori, a large, anthropomorphic rooster. In this form, he becomes a true knight, gaining immense combat prowess. This cycle of death and rebirth can theoretically continue, making him a remarkably persistent opponent.
