Description
Kounoike Haruaki, known as Krusty, hails from a wealthy, prestigious family. As an illegitimate child raised solely by his neglectful mother, he endured constant surveillance from half-brothers and pressure to inherit the family business. He escaped into the virtual world of Elder Tales, rising to lead D.D.D.—Akihabara’s largest combat guild, its name born from randomly pressing the "D" key. Before the Catastrophe, he achieved the impossible by clearing Oracle's Tower, a raid unconquered by Yamato server players.

Krusty stands tall and muscular, with light brown hair, dark brown eyes, fair skin, and square-rimmed glasses. His personality splits sharply: outwardly calm and noble, he maneuvers politically as the Round Table Alliance’s spokesperson, yet in battle, he becomes a frenzied "Blood Knight" radiating bloodlust, his speech warping. Princess Raynesia recognizes this ruthless combat joy as his core self, contrasting his diplomatic mask. He wields two Overskills—Hyperion Eye for battlefield strategy and Mnemosyne Taboo for memory manipulation.

During the Gold of the Kunie arc, contact with Misa’s scythe flung him to Kunlun on the moon. The Genius Bucaphi cursed him with the Dark Soul Curse after he refused her vassalage. This curse halted HP regeneration, blocked telepathy and server travel, and erased selective memories, including his fabricated pet cat "Nobody." Banished to Zhongyuan server, he was rescued by the Lelang Wolf Cavalry. Mistaken for an "Ancient" due to his level, he resided at Bai Tao Shrine.

In Zhongyuan, a cliff collapse during Elias Hackblade’s battle accidentally reunited him with Kanami’s party. Joining their Sirius Grotto expedition, he faced Genius foes. When Gumon died fighting a half-raid Nue, the sacrifice triggered Krusty’s memory of his lieutenant Takayama. Exploiting Mnemosyne Taboo’s loopholes, he burned "useless" real-world memories for MP to overpower the curse, while his Demon-Axe of Fresh Blood stole HP from Geniuses to bypass healing restrictions. This restored his core identity and loyalty to D.D.D., which he treasures.

His bond with Princess Raynesia evolved from teasing her to avoid politics to mutual respect when she pleaded for aid against the Goblin King. While cursed, her unwavering determination anchored his resolve to return. Rumors swirl about their connection, and her anxiety during his absence underscores its depth.

After Sirius Grotto, Krusty remains with Kanami’s party. A brief radio contact confirmed his survival to Akiba, though the signal died before direct communication. He now seeks to reach the moon and confront the Genius threat.
