Description
Scheta, known formally as Scheta Synthesis Twelve, earned Integrity Knight status through victory in the Four Empires Unity Tournament. Her natural aversion to speech and attention earned her the epithet "The Silent" among her fellow knights. Following a duel where she slew another Integrity Knight using her Divine Object-class weapon, the Black Lily Sword, she requested and entered prolonged hibernation. She remained dormant until awakened by the deaths of Supreme Priest Quinella and Chief Elder Chudelkin.
The Black Lily Sword originated from a pact with Quinella: Scheta retrieved a spatial energy-saturated object from the Dark Territory's Age of Blood and Iron battlefield. After three days of searching, she found a black lily, which Quinella transformed into an exceptionally thin rapier. This weapon later shattered in combat against American players.
A deep-seated compulsion drives Scheta to visualize and create cleanly sliced cross-sections of objects and people. Though she suppresses this urge, she cannot entirely control it. This tendency manifested brutally during the Four Empires Unity Tournament, where she slaughtered all opponents, leading to the event's records being expunged. Fearing she might harm others, she minimized social interaction and suppressed her presence for centuries within the Central Cathedral.
During the War of Underworld, Scheta commanded the right flank of the Human Guardian Army's Second Unit at the Great Eastern Gate. She subsequently joined the decoy unit, riding her dragon Yoiyobi to lure the Dark Territory Army away from the Human Empire. Pursued southward by the Pugilists Guild under Iskahn, their duel ignited his interest, though Scheta viewed his reliance on raw strength over weaponry with contempt.
When Emperor Vecta sacrificed Iskahn's forces against invading American players, Scheta and Iskahn exploited loopholes in Vecta's orders to forge an alliance. While the main Human Guardian Army retreated south, Scheta stayed with Iskahn to repel the American player army. She survived the conflict and later appeared in an alternative Alicization timeline (32/33) as an instructor for apprentice Integrity Knights Eugeo Synthesis Thirty-Two and Kirito Synthesis Thirty-Three.
Scheta possesses a tall, slender frame and a refined, sculpturally emotionless face. Her long, straight dark-gray hair parts precisely at the center of her pale brow and ties into a tight ponytail. Almond-shaped eyes and unadorned lips complete her austere visage. Uniquely among Integrity Knights, she wears plain, thin matte-gray armor and carries the Black Lily Sword on her left waist.
Despite her lethal prowess, Scheta radiates no hostility or murderous intent in battle. Her enigmatic nature remained largely impenetrable, even to her commander, Bercouli Synthesis One, despite his century of observation.
