Description
Pollux Gemini is a student at the Royal Diana Academy and a member of the Claude Coven, the class overseen by the mage Claude Sirius. She is the younger twin sister of Castor Gemini, and the two are bound by a rare magical condition that makes them share a single body. When the body is touched by a man, Castor's consciousness takes control, and when it is touched by a woman, Pollux's consciousness surfaces. The body's apparent sex changes along with the shift in consciousness, although clothing and accessories remain unaffected. This arrangement shapes her daily life, her identity, and the unusually close bond she has with her brother.

In temperament, Pollux stands as a clear contrast to Castor. While her brother is rough and hot-tempered, Pollux is bright, friendly, sociable, and charismatic, and she tends to approach others with warmth. She is bold, tomboyish, and strong-willed, with considerable confidence in her magical skill. That confidence can sometimes become a problem when she does not keep her power fully under control. At the same time, she has a softer side and a fondness for cute things. She is notably more gifted at magic than her brother, and her specialization is Gemini Magic.

Her personal history is closely connected to Claude Sirius. As a middle school student, she admired Claude when he was still a newly appointed teacher. That changed when a group of heretics attacked and she called out for help, only for Claude to leave her behind. The experience turned her admiration into resentment, and afterward she and Castor made a promise to protect everyone through their own strength rather than depend on someone else. This grudge remains central to her character, and the shared body means that the tension with Claude belongs to both twins. In the present-day setting, Castor expresses this conflict openly by defying Claude and skipping his lessons, while Pollux carries the resolve into her own development as a mage.

Her most important relationship is with Castor, whom she affectionately calls Castor-niichan. The two function almost as a single person because of their shared body, and her loyalty to him mirrors his protectiveness toward her. Outside of that bond, she has been friends with Io, the Taurus mage, since middle school, and she relates to several other members of the coven as a classmate. Her energetic and combative side also shows in school events, such as a heated exchange with Aria that takes place during the final trial on an uninhabited island.

Across the story, Pollux's role is defined by the contrast between her outward confidence and the unresolved hurt from her past. Her development revolves around the attempt to move past the betrayal she suffered, to honor the promise she made with Castor, and to prove that she can stand on her own as a capable and reliable mage. Her unusual body-sharing magic remains fundamental to who she is, and her talent, bold personality, and deep bond with her brother make her a memorable presence within the coven.
