Rena Hasegawa is a Japanese voice actress and former idol singer affiliated with the talent agency Crocodile. She was born on March 15, 2001, in Tainai City, Niigata Prefecture. Before pursuing a career in voice acting, Hasegawa was a first-generation member of the NGT48 idol group, joining in 2015 and remaining with the group until her graduation in May 2019. Following her departure from NGT48, she formally transitioned to voice acting, signing with her current agency in June 2019.

Hasegawa began landing anime roles soon after her career change. Her early voice work included the character Atre in the Dropkick on My Devil! franchise, a role she has reprised across multiple installments including Dropkick on My Devil! X and Dropkick on My Devil!!: Apocalypse Day. She gained recognition for a variety of roles in the early 2020s. In 2021, she voiced Rio Amakusa in the romance anime Koikimo, Rara Inumiya, also known as VJ.Wolf, in Wixoss Diva(A)Live, and Karina Kakogawa in the sports series Farewell, My Dear Cramer. The following year, she took on the role of Haru Kagurano in the second season of the romantic comedy Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It, titled Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It. r=1-sinθ. Her filmography also includes the character Kokoro Kakegawa, known as Kokoron, from the Idol Bu Show multimedia project, which led to a role in the 2022 film IDOL Bu Show. In 2024, she was cast as Miko Yahiko in the original anime Rinkai! and as Kuroeda in the fantasy comedy Plus-Sized Elf.

In addition to her anime work, Hasegawa has established a presence in the gaming industry. Her game credits include roles in major titles such as Honkai Impact 3rd, where she voiced the character Changguang, and Monster Strike, for which she provided voices for multiple characters between 2021 and 2024. She has also been involved in long-running, multi-platform projects. She voices Shian Inubousaki in the Bandai Namco music project Denonbu and is a member of the unit Roots. within the Tokyo 7th Sisters game, contributing to several of its musical releases. Hasegawa is also active in character song performance, having released multiple digital singles and appearing on various anime and project soundtrack albums.
