Description
Atre is a vampire demon who serves as the strict educator and guardian of Ecute, the princess of the vampire clan, within the human world of Jimbocho. Her background is rooted in the demon realm, where her family is part of the vampire clan, a group viewed by other demons as being akin to the yakuza due to their rigid codes of honor and conduct. This reputation heavily influences her actions and motivations. In her past, Atre herself dreamed of becoming an idol, a secret passion that contrasts sharply with her current, severe demeanor.

Physically, Atre is a tall young woman with long black hair and a striking, curvy figure. Her typical attire includes a form-fitting, red-and-white striped swimsuit, a choice she defends as practical for potential conflicts and which she considers far superior to a more standard black bikini, which she dismisses as uncool. Her personality is defined by a strict duality. In everyday interactions with others, she is notably humble, polite, and serious, treating even members of other species with respect. However, when it comes to her role as Ecute's educator, she becomes completely inflexible. She enforces a harsh, yakuza-style discipline, believing that any action which damages the clan's reputation demands severe punishment. To this end, she does not hesitate to physically correct Ecute, often delivering a powerful punch to her stomach and threatening to amputate her fingers for any dishonorable or princess-like misconduct, a punishment made trivial only by Ecute's regenerative abilities.

Atre’s primary role in the story is to accompany Ecute to Jimbocho, tasked with ensuring the princess behaves in a manner befitting their clan and avoids any conflict, particularly with angels, that could further tarnish their name. Her key relationships are defined by this duty. She is fiercely devoted to Ecute, acting as both a follower and a guardian. Despite her brutal teaching methods, she demonstrates genuine concern for her charge, such as discreetly collecting blood to satisfy Ecute's cravings. She also serves as a formidable enforcer against others, like Jashin-chan, whom she sternly rebukes using her signature sharp Yakuza tone if any rude remarks are made. Interestingly, despite her fear of dogs, a phobia she shares with Ecute, Atre harbors a hidden, softer side as a devoted fan of the angel idol Poporon, able to flawlessly perform all of Poporon's songs and dances. This fandom is a vestige of her own abandoned dream of becoming an idol.

In terms of development, Atre’s character reveals a complex individual who balances the brutal demands of her clan’s honor system with a secret, almost gentle admiration for idol culture. Her notable ability includes a signature right uppercut named Tarhel Anatomia, a technique whose name is derived from a famous German anatomical text, which she wields as a primary tool for discipline and enforcing order.
