Description
Pūta, son of Hakushon Daimaō and younger brother of Akubi, debuted as a new character in the 2020 sequel series commemorating the original show's 50th anniversary. He inhabits the same magical bottle as his family, yet possesses a unique summoning trait: appearing whenever someone nearby farts. This contrasts with his father's sneeze-triggered appearances and his sister's yawn-based emergence.
As Akubi's sibling, Pūta exhibits a mischievous and troublemaking personality, surpassing even his sister's earlier irritability. His behavior frequently involves disproportionate retaliation against perceived infantilization, disrupting human interactions. He accompanies Akubi on her journey to prepare for the genie throne, joining her and their father after the bottle's rediscovery by Kantarō Yodayama—grandson of the original protagonist. This sparks shared human-world adventures exploring themes of dreams and responsibility.
Pūta's design features in official merchandise, including a full-color Nendoroid Plus acrylic keychain at approximately 60mm height, plus other thematic keychains depicting him alongside Hakushon and Akubi.
