Miyuki Hongō is a third-year high school student at Seiwa High School and the captain of the volleyball club. Despite her age, she also holds a position on the Japan national volleyball team, making her widely recognized and celebrated. In the dormitory where she lives alongside other elite female athletes, Miyuki often takes on an older sister role, offering guidance and helping to maintain order among the group. She is among the first to interact with the protagonist, Kōyō Kotesashi, when he arrives as the dormitory caretaker, and she helps clear up an initial misunderstanding involving another resident. Throughout the story, Miyuki benefits from Kōyō’s massage techniques, which address her physical needs and contribute to her continued athletic performance. While she is confident and composed, she also shows a caring and levelheaded side, acting as a stabilizing presence in the dormitory.
